Confined Space Assessment

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers to identify all confined spaces in a facility and determine if those spaces meet the criteria of permit required confined spaces (PRCS). If a PRCS is identified, then the employer must follow the regulatory requirements, including developing policies and programs for entry, developing a permit program and requirements, conducting monitoring of the spaces, providing awareness to employees of the requirements, providing entry and rescue equipment for entry, training all entry and rescue employees and ensuring that the spaces are safe for entry.

Arbill EHS Specialists will conduct an assessment of your site, producing an inventory of all confined spaces and identifying all applicable regulatory requirements. Additionally, air monitoring in the applicable spaces may be conducted to identify hazards and determine protective measures for entry. Arbill will provide a report on control measures to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure worker safety when working in identified confined spaces.
