From leather safety gloves to all-in-one safety solutions for the workplace, we’ve learned a thing or two about protecting people.
A third-generation owner, CEO Julie Copeland drives our holistic approach to safety in the workplace and at home.
Arbill launched in 1945 as a distribution company for leather and cotton safety gloves. We listened to customers from the start, and we’ve been expanding our products and services ever since.
At the turn of the century, Julie Copeland took over for her father who succeeded her grandfather, our founder. She’s the driving force behind expanding our products and expertise from workplace safety into the lives of consumers.
For workplace safety, we made substantial changes to our product line, offering gloves aligned for specific types of work. We also worked closely with customers to develop holistic safety solutions that ensure employee safety on a comprehensive level. The result is SafetyCare™.
Launched in 2016, SafetyCare™ combines all our offerings: innovative products, exceptional Environmental Health and Safety Services, safety programs, and cutting-edge technology platforms.

Our commitment to safety goes beyond the workplace. We’re always looking for new ways to improve Arbill products, services, and support. That’s one reason we decided to take our Truline brand—created for worker safety—and develop it into a broader line of products for the at-home DIYer.
We’re committed to keeping people safe so they can enjoy life to the fullest. It’s what we’ve done for nearly 80 years. And you can count on us to keep going.
