Employees will learn the signs, symptoms, and risks associated with BBP exposure, universal precautions and other prevention measures, and decontamination/treatment options after exposure.

This course is designed to meet the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training requirements for healthcare workers such as nurses, physician aides, emergency medical technicians, nursing home workers, etc. This training covers an advanced level of understanding including the epidemiology, symptoms, transmission, and prevention of bloodborne pathogens, exposure control programs, engineering controls, decontamination methods, disposal requirements and recordkeeping related to blood borne pathogens.

This course is designed for non-medical personnel that require training in Adult CPR/AED. The course covers the proper use of AEDs as well as step-by-step procedures for CPR. Upon completion of this course, students receive a nationally recognized course completion card that is valid for two years.

Training is for emergency managers, supervisors or employees who will be managing aspects of the ICS system during an emergency that could utilize the national response framework. The training covers the national framework for integrated emergency response, Incident Command System (ICS) utilization, management roles during an emergency, evacuation procedures, facility emergency procedures, outside agency liaisons and national response aspects.
