Fall Equipment Inspection

Arbill EHS Specialist will conduct visual inspections and make recommendations for repairs on fall protection harnesses, lanyards and beam straps, focusing on hardware, webbing and stitching, synthetic and wire ropes, energy absorbing components and labels.

Scaffolding Competent Person

This course is designed for employees with experience in scaffolding erection and disassembly. A competent person is an employee who has knowledge and training in a specific subject to understand the hazards and risks and how to eliminate the risks. This training covers scaffolding designs, risks and hazards of scaffolding erection, scaffold regulatory requirements, design specification, disassembly requirements and proper inspection. This classroom and hands-on training is a key requirement for an employer to qualify employees as a Scaffolding “Competent Person,” per OSHA.

Course Refresher  BMP

Fall Protection Awareness

This course is designed for employees whose workplace includes routine work to be conducted at heights. The training includes identifying fall hazards and risks; the use of ladders, and stairs; and basic fall protection equipment.

Fall Protection Competent Person Training (General Industry or Construction)

This course is a comprehensive overview of fall protection and prevention in construction or general industry and covers the employer’s duties to provide the correct type of fall protection or fall arrest equipment for employees. A competent person is an employee who has knowledge and training in a specific subject to understand the hazards and risks and how to eliminate the risks. This classroom and hands-on training is a key requirement for an employer to qualify employees as a Fall Protection “Competent Person,” per OSHA.

Fall Protection User

This course focuses on those workers who are required to use fall protection equipment in the workplace. The training includes fall hazard identification; the proper use, function and maintenance of fall protection equipment; and fall emergency plans and procedures.

Stairways and Ladders

Working on and around stairways and ladders is hazardous, and falls from heights are a significant cause of injuries to workers every year. The Stairways and Ladders Training covers identification of hazards and controlling of risks, as well as the proper use, inspection, and maintenance of stairways and ladders.
