The Hazardous Materials Table (HMT) and DOT requirements will be covered. Participants will gain a working understanding of shipping manifests, labels and placards, container identification, and safety and security requirements.

This course provides annual recertification for all HAZWOPER First Responder and Site Worker training, including necessary classroom instruction to meet the regulatory requirements for hazardous material response refresher training. This course covers proper decontamination of employees that may be exposed to hazardous materials. Topics include types of decontamination, emergency decontamination, decontamination equipment, emergency showers and eye wash stations, duration of decontamination, modesty considerations and mass casualty decontamination.

BMP
This training offers employees a comprehensive overview of basic spill response planning and management. Employees will learn about the prevention of spills, how to proactively plan for an event, proper response procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements. This awareness level class is not a substitute for HAZWOPER Spill Responder Training [29 CFR 1910.120(p) (8) (iii)] which is required for spill response teams but is a great supplement for other employees.
