Arbill EHS Specialists will conduct noise surveys by placing noise monitoring devices in strategic locations of potential exposure and onto individual personnel that may be at risk. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that all users of any tight-fitting respiratory protective device be properly fit tested prior to use. Respiratory fit testing must be conducted on each brand, model and size of tight-fitting respirator that each worker may use during any job tasks requiring protection from inhalation exposure and hazards. Arbill EHS Specialists will conduct qualitative or quantitative fit testing to ensure a proper fit and seal of a respiratory equipment to a user. Respirator users also required to have medical clearance by a licensed healthcare professional as well as respiratory protection training prior to fit testing.
