This training is conducted for those who have flagging and traffic control responsibilities on public roads, including utility companies, law enforcement personnel, municipal managers and others. This course is designed to meet the training requirements mandated for all flaggers and covers flagging procedures, work zone set-up requirements and traffic control devices based on Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the Flagging Handbook are included.

Training and Certification by State Vary
This training class is designed to provide up-to-date information on Federal, State and International laser safety regulations. Participants will learn the fundamentals and terminology necessary for a complete understanding of current laser safety information and receive an overview of exposure limits, hazard zones and optical density. The effects of lasers on the eye and skin will be examined, non-beam issues such as laser-generated airborne contaminants and electrical hazards will be studied, and Laser Control Measures and Personal Protective Equipment such as laser eyewear will be reviewed. Includes controls recommended by ANSI Z136 industry safety standards, and reviews compliance requirements mandated by OSHA.

Radiation sources, present in many industrial machines, provide useful tools but must be properly understood and handled safely. When radiation is not understood or not handled with the care and respect it deserves, it can pose a serious health hazard. This program includes basic radiation safety and radiation source handling.

New employees must complete employee orientation training, covering safety topics are required by OSHA as well as state-specific regulations. This training is designed to cover safety topics including emergency action plans; PPE; hazard communication; bloodborne pathogens; confined space awareness; LO/TO Affected; NFPA 70E electrical awareness; fire prevention; fall protection and prevention; ladder safety; walking/working surfaces; hand & power tool safety and ergonomics.

For workplace safety, employees must be trained on various topics. They must be familiar with the requirements, risks and how to protect themselves. Various OSHA safety topics are available. OSHA may not mandate all of these classes, it is best management practices to ensure that employees are aware of the hazards that exist in the workplace. These courses can be designed to fit your specific needs.
Topics include: hand safety, power tool safety, ladder safety, caught-in-and-between or struck-by objects, walking/working surfaces, severe weather, forklift pedestrian safety, and others.
