Heat Stress Awareness

Heat stress related illnesses are a severe risk to employees that work in hot environments. This class is designed to advise of the hazards and risks of hot work environments, the signs and symptoms of heat related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke, prevention methods and the employers heat stress program.

Cold Stress Awareness

Cold stress related illnesses present a severe risk to employees that work in cold environments. This class is designed to advise of the hazards and risks of cold work environments, the signs and symptoms of illnesses related to cold stress such as hypothermia and frostbite, prevention methods and the employers cold stress prevention program.

Ergonomics Awareness

This course is designed for any employee whose job involves performing repetitive tasks and/or remaining in awkward positions for a long period of time. Such tasks can cause many employees to suffer job-induced injuries that may inhibit their ability to perform simple activities.

Hearing Conservation

Any site with employees working in areas with an anticipated exposure to noise at or above 85dB over an eight-hour period is required to maintain a Hearing Conservation Program which includes a written plan, employee training, and medical surveillance. This course trains employees on hearing conservation program, causes of high noise levels, signs and symptoms of hearing loss, prevention of hearing damage and proper selection, use and maintenance of hearing protection.

Course Refresher  Initially / Annually for Exposed Workers


Respiratory Protection

OSHA mandates that employers develop and implement a written respiratory protection program for employees required to wear respiratory protection. This training will cover the site-specific program and will educate your employees about respiratory hazards in the workplace, how to properly select and use respirators, maintenance and inspection and also cleaning and storage requirements.


*Class time is dependent on the type of respiratory equipment used. Employees must obtain medical clearance prior to fit testing per 29CFR1910.134. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

Course Refresher  Initially / Refresher Annually


Laboratory Safety

The Laboratory Safety Course covers a variety of safety topics that are specific to lab personnel and the risks they are faced with each day. The course can be adapted to meet your specific laboratory risks and hazards, and also compliance needs.


Topics may include: best laboratory practices and controls; hazard communication; PPE; electrical hazards; chemical hygiene; bloodborne pathogens; physical hazards and risks; waste disposal; emergency action plans; and decontamination.

Course Duration  Duration: 4-8 Hours

Chemical Specific Awareness

This class can be customized to cover chemical specific topics that may be of hazards to companies and employees. This awareness level training provides identification of hazards and risks of the chemicals, warning properties and labels, signs and symptoms of exposure and protective measures such as PPE.


Chemicals may include: Anhydrous Ammonia, Combustible Dust, Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen Sulfide, Nitrogen, Asbestos, Lead, Compressed Gases, Cryogenics, Hydrochloric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Bromine, Steam, Compressed Air, etc.
