This absolute rated, graded porosity 100% polypropylene pleated cartridge features a highly effective advanced pleat technology (APT) design that increases the usable filtration surface area while maintaining standard cartridge sizes. This design technology maximizes the useful surface area while maintaining open flow paths between media pleats. The design also supports a graded porosity media structure, which results in lower pressure drops, longer service life and lower overall filtration costs. These filters are manufactured using a staggered pleat configuration that, when combined with a novel support material, provides more open space between the pleats. The increased open area of the staggered pleats allow for greater contaminant loading between each pleat at the inside diameter, while reduced length pleats take advantage of existing open space closer to the outside diameter. The result is a fully usable surface area that provides superior service life.
