To make it easy for you to perform quantitative fit tests, MSA offers a full line of specially modified facepiece assemblies. Each probed facepiece is equipped with a built-in probe assembly, sampling line and a clothing clip to hold the sampling line. The probes are made of solid brass. In all MSA half-facepiece models, the probe is attached to the body of the respirator. Full-facepiece respirators are probed through the lens and sealed with a neoprene washer and brass fittings. MSA also offers probed lenses for use with existing Ultravue® facepieces. These lenses come completely assembled with the same brass probe, sealing hardware and sampling line as the probed full facepieces. All respirators use standard MSA high-efficiency filters for tests.
